biography

Pengfei Liu was born in Hubei Province, the middle part of China, in 1990. He entered into the Wuhan University of Technology in 2009 and obtained his BSc in Applied Chemistry by June, 2013. Then he moved to Guangdong Province and started his Master Degree in Chemical Engineering under the supervision of Prof. Huiping Zhang at the South China University of Technology. During the following three years, his research work focused on the preparation of porous microfibrous entrapped activated carbon composite materials, and their applications in hydrocarbon separation and desulfurization of liquefied petroleum gas for refining green refrigerant R290.

In September 2016, he joined Prof. Resmini’s research group at Queen Mary, University of London to pursue the Ph.D. degree. His research project aims to investigate the physico-chemical understanding of the relationships between the structure changes of the organic polymeric nanoparticles and their penetration and efficiency as a transdermal drug delivery vehicle.
